As you know, I was called up to MonDon's varsity team about 3 weeks ago to replace the starting catcher. I am splitting time with another catcher on the team, but it is still a very good experience as a sophomore. I had my first career start at the varsity level today, and I am currently hitting .500 on the season (1-2). We made the second round of two tournaments; the Ocean County Tournament and the Shore Conference Tournament. We also qualified for the State Tournament, and we will host a state home game at MonDon later this week. It is the first state home game MonDon has had in 12 years. We are currently 12-7, but have won 10 of our last 13 games (losses to Toms River North, Toms River South, and Pt. Boro)
